Acts is a book that needs to be read by Believers to fully appreciate its message. At the end of his Gospel, John writes that the signs and miracles he recorded were written that you may believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name. (John 20:30-31) Acts reveals that the ministry of Jesus continues, now working through anointed Believers. Ordinary men and women doing extraordinary things through faith in Jesus. It proves that God will confirm His Word with signs and miracles. And even in the face of threats, or persecution, nothing can stop the spread of the Good News. With this in mind, take fresh a look back at Paul’s shipwreck on Malta. (Mark 16:19-20, Acts 4:29-33, 6:7, 19:19-20)

God looked over all that He had made and it was good!
God asked Eve why she ate the fruit and she said, “The serpent tricked me.”

God had created everything on this planet perfect and good. There was abundance, love, peace, and joy. And there was absolutely no violence, fear, sickness, or death. God created Adam in His image. From Adam, He formed Eve, placing them both in the Garden of Eden. God delegated authority over the entire Earth to them, and gave them the Blessing. They were to protect the Garden and spread the Blessing throughout the Earth. Adam and Eve lived in perfect harmony with God. They were physical beings like us. But like Jesus, and Christian Believers today, they were spiritually alive and connected to God. Having daily access to God’s Wisdom made challenging tasks like naming animals not only possible, but easy. All the fruit of the Garden was there for their benefit, with only one exception. They had a choice. They could trust God’s Word and enjoy the Blessing, or sin and reap the consequences.
