The Ministry of Digital Transformation promises to launch this service on the Diya portal in a month, and then the parents of 6.5 million children will be able to register their place of residence without leaving home. “The simplified service will replace 4 visits to the CNAP or registration authorities. The number of paper documents is reduced from 3 to 0. Electronic application. Personal appeal from parents is not required, ”said Mikhail Fedorov, Minister of Digital Transformation, about the advantages of the service.
Why do children need to change their place of residence?
In the case of enrollment in kindergarten or admission to school, preference is often given to those children who have a residence permit. You also need to get a passport for the first time at the place of registration.
How will the service work?
Parents of a child under 14 years old will be able to pay the administrative fee and fill out an application on the Diya portal and change the registration of the place of residence on the same day or the next day (except weekends). Important: you can register a new place of residence and deregister from the preliminary one at the same time. That is, when you move, you do not need to deregister.
